The Institute

How LIVE was born

Finding your way back into work after long-term unemployment, whether by choice or circumstance, can often be difficult, and it is even harder without support.

That is why Brigitte Macron, with the help of the LVMH Group and an Educational Committee, founded LIVE – L’Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi.

Mission

Give LIVE students a chance to discover a vocation and develop an employment plan thanks to personalized support to help them find a job directly, join a transition to employment program, or benefit from additional training.

Creation

The entire program was approved by an Educational Committee composed of renowned figures committed to helping people into work or training and promoting equal opportunities.

Since 2019

The LIVE story began in September 2019 with the opening of the first campus in Clichy-sous-Bois. Building on the success of this first step, two new campus’s have been opened, one in Valence in March 2021 and a second in Roubaix in September 2021. This momentum continued with the opening of a LIVE Campus in Marseille in March 2023.

Message from the Managing Director

“People who join the LIVE program receive personalized support as they themselves apply the resources  they are given to build a path to success. Some 80% of LIVE participants complete the program and move on to either employment or further training.”
